I’m an artist, bestselling author, and speaker whose work centers on bold reinvention and self-expression.
Through my art, books, and teaching, I dare people to loosen expectations, embrace their uniqueness, and live as the artists of their own lives.
MY STORY
I didn’t pick up a paintbrush until I was 40 years old.
Before that, I spent two decades building a life that looked “successful” on the outside—immigrating to the U.S. as a refugee at 13, becoming a tech executive, founding three companies, writing bestselling books, and speaking on big stages to help others thrive.
But I was ignoring a part of myself that had been quietly tugging at my soul for years. The artist.
Burnout forced me to face the truth. I had built a life that fit the world’s expectations, not my own.
When I finally said yes to the voice inside me, everything shifted.
Painting cracked me open. It brought me back to life. It reminded me that the parts of ourselves we try hardest to hide often hold our greatest power.

Why eyes and faces?
My work is filled with eyes and faces. I never planned it. As soon as my brush touches the canvas, they appear.
I paint faces that break the rules because so many of us spend our lives trying to fit expectations that were never ours. My faces refuse that. They rearrange themselves with freedom and aliveness.
Eyes are how we see the world and how we see ourselves. They open windows into possibility.
In my paintings, eyes are an invitation:
